LITTLE RED WAGON FOUNDATION INC.
Volvo for Life Butterfly Award
As many of you have heard already I won the Volvo for Life Butterfly Award this year. Volvo is a company that is respected for quality and philanthropy world wide. To be associated with them is a real honor and has been an incredible experience.
Along with the honor comes $25,000 donation to the Little Red Wagon Foundation Inc. I thought about it a long time and have decided what I would really like to do is build a school in Africa for kids that do not have the opportunity to go to school. I think that will be a way to take the money and create something that will be around for a long time and help lots of kids.
I hope the publicity I receive will help me when I walk this fall starting October 17th 2008 in Tallahassee heading for Atlanta. The purpose is to raise awareness to homeless kids but also to raise money to build a house for a homeless family through Habitat for Humanity!
I will need your help to make these two projects come true. Please think about making a donation to us and help us help kids!
Next time you need a car think about buying a Volvo!
My name is Zach and I am the founder of the Little Red Wagon Foundation Inc. I created a non profit so I could help kids in distressed situations. My plan is to help as many kids as I can, have fun and keep it simple.
